Music plays an important role in worship at Immanuel, not only the grand music of our Lutheran heritage but also great sacred works from all periods of Christian history.

Meals on Heels

Every Saturday since 1987, volunteers from the Immanuel congregation, and their friends and associates, have provided a hot meal to shut-ins referred to Immanuel's Meals on Heels program by Search and Care, a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to help frail and isolated older people live safely and independently in their own homes on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
