Yes! At Immanuel we love reading, talking about, and studying the Bible. We have a regular Bible study on Thursday evenings at 6:30 where we do a close reading, verse by verse, of different books of the Bible. As of May 2024, this class is studying the book of Genesis. On certain Sundays, we have a “Big Picture” Bible class after the liturgy at 1 pm, where we look at a topic and see what the Bible has to say about it. For example, we have looked at creation, original sin, the devil, the Trinity, and the role of Mary.
We also have Sunday School and Confirmation classes for kids and other fellowship groups and book clubs, and the Bible is central to those gatherings as well. More information about all these opportunities is available on our website (at this link) and included in our weekly emails.
